MyCare HBO provides affordable and timely access to medical consultation by world-class Mayo Clinic in the event of serious illness, difficult-to-diagnose medical conditions or major orthopedic issues.

Details

Provides initial diagnosis assistance, medical scans, retest of pathology and specialist appointments for plan members, including all family members who have been diagnosed with a serious illness or injury, or have symptoms of a not-yet-diagnosed illness, and a second medical opinion.  Patient stays in Canada while services are performed.
HUB Select plan members receive a preferred rate of only $8/month/family.

Once you enrol in MyCare HBO, you are eligible to enrol into MyCare Advantage within the first 60 days.  MyCare Advantage provides services and treatment directly at a Mayo Clinic.  For more information and rates click here or email info@mycare.ca.  

The Fine Print

There is no medical questionnaire or exam required, however there is a pre-existing condition clause.  A pre-existing condition means a condition for which a Plan Member is given medical care, treatment, services, medication, diagnosis, diagnostic testing or consultation during the 24 months prior to the Plan Member’s effective date of Plan Membership. Services will not be available for the same medical condition(s) for the 12 months following the effective date of the Plan Membership. Major exclusions include congenital conditions, chronic conditions, and related medical conditions.
